What Clients Say

Accounts from Bangkok Families

"We came to Bequesta after my father-in-law passed away and we spent three weeks trying to locate a property document that should have been easy to find. That experience made it clear we needed to sort out our own household records before something similar happened to our children. The workshop gave us a starting point we hadn't expected — practical and calm, not at all uncomfortable to work through."

"The digitization project was more thorough than I expected. Siriporn spent two full days scanning old documents I hadn't looked at in years and filed everything into a structure I can actually navigate. The folder naming is consistent and the PDFs are searchable. I keep a copy on my laptop and one on a USB drive my wife can access independently."

"I attended the workshop with my mother, who is 72 and less confident with paperwork generally. The pace was appropriate for both of us, which I wasn't sure about beforehand. The wish-writing section was particularly useful — we both produced something by the end that we hadn't expected to. A small clarification or two after the session would have helped, but overall it was time well spent."

"We had a large collection of mixed Thai and English documents going back thirty years. I wasn't sure how Bequesta would handle the Thai materials but it wasn't an issue — everything was filed consistently regardless of language. The resulting archive is genuinely usable. My daughter lives in London and I've shared access with her so she can see everything if she ever needs to."

"The personal inventory work was something I'd been putting off for years. Anuwat visited three times over two weeks and the result is an Excel document I can actually keep current on my own. The key contacts section alone was worth it — I didn't realise how scattered that information was until we put it together in one place."

Sathorn — Inventory client · June 2025

"I commissioned the digitization service after clearing my late mother's apartment. It was a difficult time and I'm grateful that the team was matter-of-fact without being cold. The scanning took longer than I expected — we extended the timeline by a week — but Bequesta was clear about that early and didn't charge more. The archive they produced is exactly what I needed."

Three Client Journeys

The Charoensuk Family — Workshop & Digitization

Bangkok · Completed April 2025

The Situation

A three-generation household in Chatuchak was preparing for an upcoming property transfer. Decades of documents were kept in cardboard boxes across two storage rooms, with no consistent filing. No one in the family was clear on what they had or where key papers were.

What Bequesta Did

The family attended a workshop together, which established a shared understanding of what records they needed to locate and what categories to sort into. A digitization engagement followed, covering approximately 600 pages of property, insurance, and family records.

The Outcome

The complete archive was delivered on a shared cloud drive accessible to all three adult family members. The property transfer paperwork was found and confirmed within the archive in under two minutes during a later consultation with their solicitor.

"Finding that document in two minutes made everything that came before feel entirely worthwhile." — Khun Malee Charoensuk

James Richardson — Personal Inventory Setup

Sukhumvit · Completed May 2025

The Situation

A British expatriate living in Bangkok for 14 years had accumulated assets, accounts, and contacts across Thailand and the UK. He had no single document his wife could use to get an overview of their affairs, and she was not involved in the management of most accounts.

What Bequesta Did

Anuwat visited the home three times over two weeks. The resulting inventory covered physical belongings across five rooms, account references for both Thai and UK institutions, a key contacts section, and a list of current insurance policies with their renewal dates.

The Outcome

A 24-page inventory document in Excel format, organised into clearly labelled sections. Both spouses now have access to the same file and the client has updated it twice independently since the engagement closed.

"My wife can find everything now. That's all we needed." — James Richardson

Khun Somjit Wattanaporn — Workshop Solo

Thonburi · Completed June 2025

The Situation

A retired teacher attending the workshop alone wanted to organise her personal papers and write down her wishes clearly, so her two adult children — one in Bangkok and one in Chiang Mai — would not face difficulty in understanding her affairs.

What Bequesta Did

She attended a standard three-hour workshop. The wish-writing exercise resulted in a four-page document in her own words, covering her personal effects, the whereabouts of key documents, and her preferences regarding her apartment.

The Outcome

She left the workshop with a completed record checklist and wish document. She later commissioned a small digitization project covering ten years of correspondence with government offices. Her children now hold a shared copy of both outputs.

"I put it off because I thought it would be upsetting. It was not upsetting at all — just practical." — Khun Somjit
